Grow Selsey is a therapeutic project for people of all ages interested in gardening and wildlife. We run The Hidden Garden, a community gardening project helping and encouraging local people to become involved with growing fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers along with providing spaces for wildlife to thrive. The garden
is looked after by a dedicated group of volunteers who meet each week to
enjoy the garden space and
each other’s company.
If you would like to become involved as a volunteer, new faces are always welcome.
We meet on Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 4pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm at the Bridge Support Centre behind Selsey Library on School Lane (PO20 9EH) or contact
Paul on 07815790770 or paul@selseycommunityforum.uk for more information.
We encourage people to share and
swap spare seeds, plants and gardening equipment throughout the year and we have a variety of flowers, vegetable plants, trees and fruit bushes available
for a donation to our visitors. If you
visit The Hidden Garden you will find
lots of ideas for growing fresh organic vegetables, fruit and herbs along with innovative ways to garden in a more sustainable way and see a variety of wildlife habitats and ways to increase biodiversity in your garden.
